Fruit for the hair this traditional indian shampoo is prepared by drying the fruit pods, leaves and bark which is then ground into a powder. Although little or no lather is made Shikaki is a good cleanser, mild with a low pH it won't strip the hair of its natural oils. Shikaki also acts as a detangler.

Shikaki is perfect for those with sensitive scalp & for the control of dandruff. Also said to promote hair growth and strengthen hair roots.

Directions:

Mix the Shikaki powder into a paste with warm water and use as a hair cleanser in the normal way you would if you used traditional shampoo, just don't expect a lather. Mix with amla for super extra conditioning.
